KUTA BEACH (BALI)

Kuta Beach is one of the most famous tourist island of Bali. This beach is located in the district of Bali, Badung, south of the city of Denpasar, Bali, Indonesia. Kuta Beach become a mainstay tourist island of Bali since the early 70's, this beach called sunset beach, as opposed to the Sanur beach.

Formerly Kuta beach is one of the trading port in the island of Bali. in the 19th century, Mads Lange was a merchant who came from Denmark, settled and established a trading base at Kuta beach. With his ability to negotiate, Mads Lange became intermediaries of trade between the kings in Bali with the Dutch. 

Kuta beach became famous after publishing a book titled Hugh Mahbett compliment to Kuta. This book contains an invitation to the local community to prepare in order to support the development of tourism facilities to tourists visiting Kuta beach. This beach has now become a favorite destination of local and foreign travelers. 

Kuta beach is never empty of visitors, both in the morning until the evening tourists are always crowded. tourists both local and foreign tourists usually enjoy the natural scenery while sunbathing on the beach, in the afternoon to watch the tourists generally increases the allure of the beach, the sunset. 

Kuta beach has great waves which is a challenge for tourists to do sports surfing. This beach also often used where the race nationally and world-class surfing. however, Kuta beach is also suitable for beginners who are just learning to surf. 

To go to Kuta beach, it takes about 10 minutes from Ngurah Rai airport. When the city of Denpasar from Kuta beach is located about 11 kilometers towards the south. 

As the center of attraction on the island of Bali, Kuta beach is equipped with supporting facilities, such as training and equipment rental surf, entertainment arena as Bugy jumping, water boom as well as other games. Moreover along Kuta beach there are many cafes, bars, pubs, discotek, as well as live music event which is always crowded visited by tourists. 

For those who love shopping, beaches around Kuta there are many shops selling souvenirs handicrafts in various forms typical of Bali. Near Kuta beach there are also many supermarkets, star hotels, guest house, as well as food stalls and restaurants that serve a variety of dishes with local tastes and global flavors.
